1. General Provisions

1.7. Use of the service and creation of a request signifies the user’s consent to the checks provided for in this AML/KYC Policy.

2. Purpose of KYC

2.1. The KYC procedure is conducted to ensure the security of exchange operations, prevent fraud, and protect the interests of users and the service.

2.2. Conducting KYC allows to:

Confirm the identity of the user and the ownership of the credentials used;
Reduce the risks of fraud and improper use of the service;
Ensure the correct and safe execution of exchange operations;
Prevent the use of the service for illegal financial activities;
Comply with the service’s internal regulations and partner requirements.

2.3. The KYC procedure is applied exclusively to ensure operational security and compliance with the requirements specified in this Policy.

2.4. Data obtained through the KYC procedure is used solely for verification and is not applied for purposes unrelated to operational security or compliance with this Policy.

3. When KYC is Applied

3.1. The KYC procedure is not applied automatically to all users but only when necessary according to a risk-based approach.

3.2. The service may initiate the KYC procedure at any stage of request processing, including before processing begins, during the operation, or after receipt of funds.

3.3. Verification may be requested in the following cases:

When confirmation of user data is required for a specific request;
For operations classified as high-risk;
For operations involving significant amounts;
When atypical request parameters or operational characteristics are detected;
If there are suspicions of fraud, attempts to bypass service rules, or illegal use of the service;
At the request of payment partners, banks, or other service counterparties;
When clarifying information for previously created and paid requests;
For cryptocurrency operations requiring additional transaction verification.

3.4. The scope and format of KYC are determined individually by the service depending on the specific situation, nature of the operation, and level of risk.

4. Data That May Be Requested

4.1. As part of the KYC procedure, the service may request information and documents necessary for user identification and verification.

4.2. To complete identity verification, the user must provide one of the following documents:

Passport;
National ID card.

4.3. Verification may include requesting the following data:

Full name of the user;
Date of birth;
Photograph of the identity document;
Confirmation of payment made for the request;
Other information required to conduct verification for a specific operation.

4.4. The scope of requested data is determined individually by the service and is limited to the information necessary for verification and operation security.

4.5. The service may request user confirmation of the source of funds when necessary for verification.

5. Refusal to Undergo KYC

5.1. The user has the right to refuse to undergo the KYC procedure.

5.2. In case of refusal, the service may cancel the corresponding request.

5.3. If a request is canceled due to refusal to undergo KYC, the service will return the received funds to the user.

5.4. Refunds are made to the payment details used unless technically impossible.

5.5. The refund period may take up to 48 business hours from the moment of the refund decision.

5.6. Actual crediting time may depend on internal regulations of banks, payment systems, or cryptocurrency networks and is beyond the service’s control.

6. Cryptocurrency Transaction Verification (AML)

6.1. For cryptocurrency operations, the service conducts transaction verification using specialized blockchain AML analyzers.

6.2. Verification determines the transaction risk score based on the source of funds and potential links to illegal activity, including, but not limited to, fraud, darknet platforms, sanctioned addresses, mixers, gambling services, and other high-risk sources.

6.3. Depending on the risk level, the service may:

Proceed with the operation;
Suspend request processing;
Request additional information or documents under the AML/KYC procedure;
Cancel the operation.

6.4. Threshold risk values are defined by the service’s internal risk management model.

6.5. Users may independently perform a preliminary check of a cryptocurrency address or transaction using available AML analyzers and provide the results to the service for risk assessment.

6.6. If a high-risk level is detected during AML verification, the service may cancel the request.

6.7. In case of cancellation due to AML verification, funds are returned to the user’s original cryptocurrency address.

6.8. Refunds retain network fees required for the transaction and a service fee of up to 5% of the transaction amount, but no more than 100 USD equivalent.

6.9. If the user successfully completes KYC and no links to illegal activity are found, refunds are made with only the network fee deducted.

7. Data Storage and Protection

7.1. Data and documents provided by users during KYC are used solely for verification and operational security.

7.2. The service takes reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect the information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7.3. Data obtained during KYC is used exclusively for operational verification, compliance with legal requirements, and internal risk management procedures.

7.4. User data may be stored for the duration necessary to conduct verification, process operations, resolve disputes, and comply with legal requirements.

7.5. The service does not disclose personal data to third parties, except when necessary for verification, legal compliance, or protection of the service’s interests.

8. Final Provisions

8.1. This AML/KYC Policy is applied together with the Exchange Rules and Payout Terms published on ex.atm24.pro.

8.2. The service reserves the right to make changes and additions to this AML/KYC Policy without prior notice to users.

8.3. The current version of the AML/KYC Policy is always available on ex.atm24.pro.

8.4. Continued use of the service after changes indicates the user’s acceptance of the updated Policy.

8.5. This Policy comes into force from the moment of its publication on ex.atm24.pro.
